20 years ago I started taking karate at my local community college. I was signing up for my first semester in college and I need a PE credit. Karate was the only one that interested me. I really enjoyed it and even advanced to a green belt.
Fast forward 20 years, 12 children, a mostly sedentary lifestyle, and some plus pounds later to last week.
I started karate again. Yay me.
I was so seriously sore the next day and twice that the second day.
Last night was my second class.
Oh. My. There are no words to describe the feelings in my legs when I go up or down steps. I am so thankful I don't live in a two story house. lol
I dread tomorrow. The second day is the worst.
