To understand the difference, you need to know my hair was all one length and hung down to my rear end. I have really thick hair and the weight was pulling out the natural curl. So I got 10 inches cut off the bottom, then had it layered. Now the curl stays in and it's so much easier to manage. I wash it, mousse it, and let it air dry. Please pray for the Anderson family. They are friends of ours and just lost their 4 year old son through cancer. He was diagnosed 3 years ago with stage 4 Neuroblastoma.
