Ours isn't on the mantle but is bolted just outside the house door into the garage! It has seen much use over the years as our many years of schooling are now over. All three went on to college. DD is a nurse, DS #1 is a computer systems analyst for the state and DS #2 is a translator in Japan. Just thought I'd throw that out. Sometimes I wondered if I was really teaching them anything. Obviously they learned in spite of me! :-). Keep up the great work in your children!
