Out with the old, in with the new

At some friends' house.

The baby...I use the term loosely since he is already walking and over a year old...is getting a bed upgrade.

He's moving out of this...

Into this...

He's still in our room. When he's used to this bed, we plan to put him in the boys' room. It might be a while, but that's our goal.

Until next time...

Oh boy...they grow up fast. He is so cute. I still call my 4 year old the baby:)

Was he climbing out of his crib? I usually wait til they turn 2, but this is the first time I've had a climber. I may have to move Lucie to a bed sooner than the others.

Sigh - a big step into toddlerhood. He's a cutie! I wasn't ready when I had to put my son in a bed, but he was already climbing out of the crib and that's a scary thing! That was so long ago!

Our youngest is always the baby until the next baby comes. Don't you feel sorry for the one who ends up being the last? My kids stay in the crib for just about forever. Elisabeth is almost two and still in the crib. Sam just moved to a toddler bed when he was three. Mostly because until we need the thing or until they ask it never occurs to us to change. They grow up so fast we hardly notice how big they are getting until they are there. Sigh.
