fascinating instrument

I just found a blog of someone I know personally. It's so neat when that happens, don't you think?



Well, this young lady is very talented herself in music, but she posted something from youtube that I thought was really neat. (It's not her, but just something she likes). I'm going to direct you to her post to see it. It's about a Chinese instrument with only 2 strings. It's played similar to a violin and it's just amazing how many notes the lady gets from this instrument. It's kind of long, but it changes about a third of the way through. It's like it goes from violin to fiddle. :) It's pretty neat.
