Thanks for the comment on my recent post... here's the answer to that:
The three 40 day periods are not so obviosu unless you look at the calendar. I t was 120 days from the giving of the Torah until Yom Kippur. The three trips are mentioned here:
1) Ex. 19:3 Moses went up on
Sivan 2
19:14 Moses went down
2) Ex 19:20 Moses goes up
19:25 Moses went down
3) 24:13-15 Moses went up
24:18 40 days/40 nights stated
32:15 Moses went down
All of them are great shots.

Oh, JenT. Those rubbermaids give me scary thoughts of pulling out clothes for the winter and sorting and washing and trying on...oh, my!
