If you remember, a while back I won some Crayola Play Sand from Mom of 2 Boys, Wife of 1.
The children love it!
Yes, some of it has escaped the confines of the sandbox my husband quickly put together.

Another project he has been working on the past week or so.
Our goat pen. So far we've been getting almost 4 cups a day from her. Last night and this morning gave us a total of almost 8 cups. We've been enjoying the fresh milk. Just a bit ago, I made a fruit smoothie with the milk, some fruit we had frozen late last week, and some honey. Yum! Sweet, cool, fruity goodness. I would have taken a picture, but it was gone before I thought of it. Maybe next time.
And here's the rabbit pen that is not yet complete.
When this is finished, work will begin on the chicken coop. Then we'll get the chickens.
Ahhh...adventure awaits!
Until next time...

Hi Mrs Torres!
I'm Kat's (chili peppers) daughter, Nana. I made the country fair button for Mom but, WHOOPS! Big mistake! When you click on the button blogger gives you an error message saying that the page is invalid. Anyway, Miss Hope helped me fix it and now you can copy and paste, and this time *hopefully* it should work.
Have a great Tuesday!
Nana
Free-range chicken! That's what I'd like to have! ...to eat I mean.

Hi Jen!
What children would not like colorful sand?
Wow, want a lot of work going on over there!
You new background and header are lovely!!!

Jen,
You all are BUSY! I am glad to see you making progress. That smoothie sounds just like my kind of treat. I was wondering what is the expected amount of milk per goat for a day? 8 cups won't go very far with your gang! (smiling here. We go through a gallon and a half per day.)
Kat
An excellent goat pen it is! Did you build the shelter or was it prefab? We're following your events at AllThingsGoat.com and look forward to reading more about your corner of the world.
