before and after

Yesterday my oldest gave the boys haircuts for the first time (under my supervision of course). Oh, yeah, and she actually wanted to, it wasn't a "chore" or anything.

She did a great job.

While she was cutting one of the boys hair, one of the other boys grabbed the scissors and proceeded to do his little sister's hair. Aack! Not good!

So I had to fix it.

It used to look like this:

Now it looks like this:

Thankfully, he didn't cut it any higher. But it looks cute and it will grow out (she wants long hair).

Until next time...

Oh, no! Well, like you said, at least he didn't cut it too high or crazy or unfixable!

I would say you have a few Hairdressers in the family:)

At least he didn't have a set of clippers. :)

Oh, that is so true!

Unfortunately one of the other ones DID and cut a piece out of his own hair. That one has done that before. No idea why. He's either in a hurry or wants it really short. We have to cut his shorter when he does that. But it still looks alright so...

We have a friend and one day I asked her when she had cut her daughters hair, it looked so adorable. she said she didn't, her brother had, who was all of about 4 at the time. He did a great job. I couldn't get over how nice it looked!

I used to give my brother hair cuts. He actually wanted me to when we were in high school! I'm looking forward to my daughter taking over the job, but it may be a while yet. :)

Her new cut is cute! I'm sure she is also glad that he didn't cut any more off than he did!!!
