Chocolate Friday - Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes

It's Friday! It's Chocolate!

How does this look?

Yeah, I know. Yummy chocolate goodness. Alas, mine didn't look exactly like that. But taste? WOW!! Out of this world!!

When I found this on The Prepared Pantry website I just HAD to get it. It's called Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes (but I'm sure you figured that out by the title). Just click on the name and it will take you directly to the page on their website.

If you click on their home page, there's a place to enter to win a free cookbook from Better Homes and Gardens.

I also encourage you to browse the site. They have a lot of interesting and delicious looking goodies on there. Another thing I got from them (for free!) is their Baking E-book. Get your free baking E-book here.

If you buy the package for making the Lava cakes, just know that it has enough for 12 cakes. It's divided up into 2 sets of 6.

The cakes I made.

My helper. :)

Now head over to Lisa's at Stop and Smell the Chocolate for more chocolate goodies.

Enjoy your weekend. Have some chocolate.

Until next time...

Seriously... you hate me. I am on this rediculous diet and I'm totally drooling right now. If my keyboard short-circuits and catches on fire.... totally your fault *grin*

YUM! I will keep these in mind when I let myself splurge next!

My friend Kathy and I just made these cakes but used a raspberry sauce. It was sooo good.

I love the Prepared Pantry website (although I've not actually ordered any of their mixes); they have a lot of great (free!) information! :o) I've never made Molten Chocolate Cakes, but it's something I'd like to try sometime. I have made Creme Brulee though -- and there are even recipes for a chocolate creme brulee, so maybe you should try that some time. :o)

Jen,

Brianna made these for us a few years ago. She got the mix from King Arthur. They were so delicious...and super rich.

The picture of your little helper is absolutely precious. Now did you get someone to take a picture of the two of you working together for Carin's challenge?

Just popping in to say "hi". This is one of our favorite desserts - we actually had it twice this month. The first time we didn't have any ice cream in the freezer to dollop on top, so we HAD to have it again later after that problem was rectified! You have a lovely family - have fun with them :)
